Last night Bend Lodge held its annual Eagle Scout dinner, which honors all the Boy Scouts in our area who achieved the rank of Eagle in the previous year.
Today Bend Lodge initiated four men as Entered Apprentice Masons. After the degree work, most of the brothers attended a fundraiser dinner by our Job's Daughter Bethel.
On Tuesday, April 28th, several members of the Lodge attended a meeting of the Deschutes County Supervisors, where a proclamation was made.
On May 16th, we'll be having a Centennial Celebration. We'll kick things off with breakfast, followed by a Masonic Treasure Hunt. After lunch, the Grand Lodge officers will rededicate our cornerstone.
At our April Stated Meeting, the Lodge read 4 new petitions. Today, a dozen members of Bend Lodge and another dozen Masons from nearby Lodges attended a class on Masonic leadership.
Before the class, we enjoyed a breakfast and, during lunch break, a pasta bar provided by our Job's Daughter Bethel.
At the end of February we held our annual Public Safety dinner, where we honor police officers and fire fighters in our community. At our stated meeting in March, we balloted on new petitions, and today we initiated three new members.
Following the Entered Apprentice Degrees we enjoyed tacos and burritos for dinner.
Bend Lodge continues to stay busy with degree work. On Friday night, we initiated a new member. Last night, we passed three Brethren to the Fellowcraft Degree.
Last night Bend Lodge held a Stated Meeting. We balloted on two petitions, and read five more - one for affliation, and four for initiation. Before the meeting, we enjoyed a spagetti dinner.
At the January stated meeting, we read two petitions and balloted on two more. Later in the month, we initated two new members. We also enjoyed a visit to Madras Lodge.
